Beyond Naborforce: Planning for Future Care Needs

A Webinar: March 20th, 2024

Older adults often feel stressed about taking the next step in the care continuum. What are your options? When should you start making plans? There can be both too much information and, somehow, not enough.

Whether you're a senior, a caregiver, or planning for the future, this webinar will provide valuable knowledge to help you make informed decisions about planning for your post-Naborforce care needs, whether that be continuing to age at home or relocating to a senior living community.

Specifically, we will explore:

  • The various living configurations available to you as you age

  • Medical and non-medical care resources you might need

  • The financial considerations of these options

About the Presenters

Jeffrey Grossman is the CEO of Commonwise Home Care. Inspired by his mother’s battle with cancer and his father's work as a hospice medical director, Jeffrey Grossman graduated law school with hopes of honoring his personal ties to caregiving. After working closely with other home care services, however, Jeffrey quickly realized the system rarely bred quality. Instead, care services prioritized profit at the cost of caregivers, clients, and their loved ones, amplifying the stress and uncertainty of those in vulnerable situations.

Jeffrey founded Commonwise as an antidote to chronic industry shortcomings. He worked to build an infrastructure built upon more than good intentions—one that didn’t just dispatch caregivers, but hired them meticulously, trained them thoughtfully, and supported them robustly. He created a structure in which caregivers aren’t just aides, but warm hosts, assisting clients in their homes with dedication and grace.

Amber Best Roberts is a registered nurse and the COO of Commonwise Home Care. Amber’s transformative impact extended to crafting meticulous hiring and training protocols, rising above common industry shortcomings. Her unwavering dedication led to the creation of Commonwise’s RN Care Management framework, addressing the rapid changes in clients' needs and providing crucial support for the Care Team.

Amber’s leadership remains the cornerstone, continuing to set the gold standard of excellence that defines the team today. Empowered by Amber’s leadership, the Commonwise team is driven to stand resilient against industry standards, upholding the mission: Truly Care for People.
